Here goes nothing...!

Hello everyone!

I got this crazy idea to start blogging my photography sessions, so hang with me! I will start off my first blog by telling you about myself! I am a self taught photographer, mother, wife, big sister and full time employee. I took online photography classes in the summer of 2020, and many many hours of YouTube. My love for the camera has been known for most of my life, behind it, not in front of it!! (lets make that clear!). Anyway, I always wanted to be a photographer. The opportunity struck when my younger brother was going into his senior year and one of his classmates had asked me to take her pictures. I was ecstatic to say the least. I had taken a few photos of the softball team just for fun and that's where it all began. I have grown SO much since then. I have grown 2 cameras, a studio, a new logo, about 600 new followers and an amazing clientele since then! The stresses of owning my own business hit hard with the 2020 pandemic and my anxiety let me know it wasn't going to be easy surviving it, but we did thankfully, thanks to all of you! I have been humbled by my business that last few years, it has had major highs and some of the lowest lows. At the end of the day I am thankful for the opportunity to even run my own business in such an amazing community that I was born and raised in. Last summer in one of my classes they told me to find my niche, the one session that really really gets you excited. After two years in the business I decided that I couldn't pick, I LOVED senior photography and children's photography....but how could I ever pick just one. I couldn't, my niche is seniors, children and families! I also learned very fast that I am only one person and I cant be everywhere all the time, so I had to scale back and limit myself to only 1 or 2 sessions a weekend. Being a momma and wife comes first! That being said I cant ever express how thankful I am for everyone that has supported me throughout the years! Even if it was as simple as inviting a friend to my group or sharing a post. It means so so much to me! I am by no means a good writer and I'm not sure if anyone will ever read these but here's to something new and broadening my horizons!! I am so excited to get into the class of 2022 seniors starting in the next few weeks! I will be blogging all the new sessions on here so stay tuned for some fun! Thanks for reading my first blog!!
